Our Mission

Charles Castellon founded CPC Law in 2008 beginning with one paralegal.  The firm has steadily grown and expanded the practice since then.  In 2011 we opened a new office in the Hunter’s Creek area of Orlando.  We strive to create an exceptional client experience. For more insight into CPC Law’s commitment to its clients, please read Charles’ blog post, “Why We Want to Serve Our Clients Bacon & Eggs”.

We represent thoughtful, driven, ambitious clients who want to solve and prevent problems through our long-term trusted advisor relationships.  Our clients include consumers, families, investors and small business owners.

Charles started the firm during the build-up of an unprecedented historical foreclosure crisis where Florida was ground zero.  As a result, we built the business by representing hundreds of distressed homeowners in defending their foreclosure cases and helping them achieve solutions including short sales and loan modifications.  Our firm has helped clients from all walks of life and we’ve learned important lessons from them throughout the foreclosure crisis that we apply in representing all our clients moving forward.  We believe that through education, hard work and planning, our clients can not only avoid disaster, but achieve all their life goals.

Many of our clients are real estate investors and we emphasize that anyone who owns a home is a real estate investor.  We believe, as virtually every wealth-building expert advises, that real estate should be a part of every diversified investment portfolio.  Though we are not limited to real estate law, the main focus of our practice involves all aspects of real estate.

CPC Law believes that all individuals, families and businesses should build and protect their own personal empires.  We don’t focus solely on material wealth.  While accumulating and protecting money and other assets is important, we strive to help our clients achieve meaningful, happy lives while going beyond the legal services we provide.  We follow a holistic approach to practicing law involving planning, protection and problem-solving.

The “privileges of client-hood” at CPC Law include connections with our community of other ethical and knowledgeable professionals, educators, advisors and like-minded clients.  CPC Law sponsors educational and networking events designed to help our clients learn and achieve their goals within the framework of win-win relationships and transactions as a guiding principle in life and business.

Our Core Values

The Core Values of CPC Law are:

Service exceeding expectations
Determination and persistence ("Stick-to-itiveness")
Constant, gradual improvement (the Japanese principle of "Kai-Zen")

X

Service exceeding expectations

We listen closely to our clients.  We recognize that often our clients’ issues are the symptoms rather than the underlying problems that need to be solved.  We believe value is the difference between expectation and performance and we strive to over-deliver.  Our job isn’t done until the client’s needs are met.

Determination, persistence and “stick to itiveness”

When addressing our clients’ needs, we don’t say “that can’t be done.”  We ask “how can we do that?”  We are relentless in pursuit of solutions and results and engage in creative problem-solving.

Constant, gradual improvement

As human beings and businesses, we should always be learning and improving ourselves as a lifetime mission.  In the business world especially, the moment we sit back and declare “we’ve made it,” that’s the beginning of the downfall.  At CPC Law, we are always seeking to help our clients more effectively, efficiently and with compassion and empathy.

The legal profession (like  many others) has suffered from a lack of ethics and integrity.  We treat our clients and colleagues honestly and fairly, just as we would want to be treated.  We will leave money on the table by declining business if we cannot honestly and effectively help the client.  Whever possible, we try to avoid the traditional legal hourly-billing model that most clients hate.  Even in lawsuits, where the common refrain from attorneys is “we don’t know how much work it will take,” we’ll offer flat-fee services broken down into stages such as “Point A to B,” etc.

The legal profession has generally come to believe that we can insulate ourselves from all risk at the client’s expense, such as when a project requires more work than expected.  What other profession can get away with that?  If a contractor wins a bid to construct a building and encounters unexpected difficulties, isn’t that the cost of doing business?  We’ll share some risk with our clients while avoiding the “nickel and diming” commonly found in hourly-billing arrangements that has caused so many consumers and business owners to avoid seeking legal help.  We can offer services to fit any budget.

Our Team

The CPC Law team is dedicated to providing quality legal services for our clients for reasonable fees while maintaining the highest degree of ethics and professionalism.
